For as long as I can remember, my favorite workouts have been running-based. I’m addicted to the post-run high feeling, and up until a few months ago, it was hard for me to believe that a low-impact workout like Pilates would be able to give me the same satisfaction.
Enter my new favorite Pilates class.
The first session was both a struggle and a revelation. The class worked muscles I didn't even know I had. The combination of strength training, flexibility, and balance was unlike anything I'd experienced before. It has been a new challenge, pushing my body in ways I never expected, and that's exactly why I love it.
I have found myself looking forward to every class, eager to get better and stronger. The challenge of mastering each movement and improving my form has become a new kind of high.
